In this talk, I will review decades of research on end-to-end (E2E) verifiable e-voting from a cryptographic perspective. I will explain essential cryptographic techniques needed to achieve E2E verifiability while preserving voter privacy, the attacks on some previous schemes, and the development of self-enforcing e-voting (SEEV). SEEV is a new paradigm of e-voting systems that are end-to-end verifiable without tallying authorities. As evident in real-world election trials, the removal of tallying authorities greatly simplifies the election management and makes E2E voting more practical than before.

AV-net, OV-net, J-PAKE, YAK, DRE-i, DRE-ip and SEAL. J-PAKE。 他2006年发表在IEEE Transactions on Computer上的文章“combining crypto with biometrics effectively”被Google 列为“密码学与计算机安全”领域的经典论文。 他与Peter Ryan教授合著题为“Real-World Electronic Voting: Design, Analysis and Deployment”的书一部。
